ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif lands into yet another trouble asanother JIT has been ordered by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Pakpattanshrine land transfer cade.
The Supreme Court on Thursday constituted a joint investigation (JIT) teamto probe the case related to the transfer of land of the Pakpattan shrinein 1985.
A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian SaqibNisar heard the suo motu case pertaining to the transfer of 14,000 kanalsof land of the Pakpattan shrine to Dewan Ghulam Qutab in 1985.
During the hearing, the top court constituted a three-member JIT to probethe case. The JIT will be headed by Khalid Dad Lak and comprise an officialeach of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Intelligence Bureau(IB).
