Pakistan head coach Misbah ul Huq reveals two Pakistani top guns for next T20 World Cup

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq has hintedthat Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz will lead Pakistan’s pace attack for nextyear’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

Speaking to media at Perth, Misbah said:

The T20 World Cup is approaching quickly. Amir and Wahab should start theirpreparations to lead the pace attack.

Misbah further added that there is more responsibility on the shoulders ofsenior players to perform.

Commenting on the upcoming two-match Test series against Australia, heclaimed that Australia is always a difficult opposition to face.

Misbah expressed his confidence in the squad, adding that they will try toput on an impressive performance.

Our batting lineup is experienced. Babar Azam is in form while IftikharAhmed is playing well. Yasir Shah has also improved ahead of the series.

The first Test will be played in Brisbane from November 21 to November 25.The second game will take place from November 29 till December 3 inAdelaide.
