In a Positive Economic Move, Pakistan-China Business Conference Set in Beijing

The 2nd Pakistan-China Business Conference is scheduled to take place onSeptember 4 in Beijing, bringing together top government officials,business leaders, and investors from both nations. The event aims tofurther deepen economic ties, enhance bilateral trade, and open new avenuesfor investment across multiple sectors, including infrastructure,technology, energy, and agriculture.

Last year’s inaugural conference proved to be a milestone in economiccooperation, securing deals worth over $1.2 billion. This year’s edition isexpected to surpass that figure, with a strong focus on expandingindustrial collaboration, joint ventures, and export opportunities.

Officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce have emphasized that theconference will also serve as a platform to promote the China-PakistanEconomic Corridor (CPEC) and to connect small and medium enterprises (SMEs)with new markets.
