ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad ChaudhryMonday said that the Party chief Imran Khan had directed to reduceexpenditures of the government and a committee has been constituted for thepurpose.
Talking to media, he said that a huge amount was being spent on ChiefMinisters and Governor Houses in the past and PTI would take measures toreduce by adopting policy of simplicity as per directions of Imran Khan.
The PTI spokesman said that the Parliament would be made a center ofdecisions, adding that Imran Khan would attend the Parliament sessions onregular basis and he would reply questions of the members of the House.
Fawad Chaudhry said that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman BinAbdul Aziz telephoned Imran Khan and felicitated on winning the generalelection. King Slaman also accepted the invitation of PTI chief forvisiting Pakistan, he added.
Relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were going toenter in new era and both the countries were enjoying brotherly relations.To a question, he said the Opposition had played a responsible role todayand hoped that they would continue it in the future.
The spokesperson said the government would provide full security to ImranKhan but protocol would be reduced.
Replying to a question, he said that Imran Khan was determined tostrengthen relations with other countries at state to state level.
To another query, he said PTI leadership had nominated Qasim Soori for thepost of Deputy Speaker in National Assembly and Mushtaq Ghani for Speakerof Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Assembly.
The previous government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) wasresponsible for destroying the national economy, he said. – APP
