LAHORE – NAB authorities have decided to arrest former prime ministerNawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz after the plane entersPakistan s airspace.
According to sources, a NAB team will depart for United Arab Emiratestomorrow where the PML-N supremo and his daughter are due to land for briefstay.
The team will present their arrest warrants to the airport authoritiesafter which they will sit in the plane carrying Nawaz and Maryam.
The convicts will be arrested as soon as the airplane enters Pakistan sairspace. The PML-N supremo and his daughter will be shifted to Attock jailfor security reasons.
Earlier, the anti-graft watchdog chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said thatthe former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremoNawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz will be arrested.
The NAB chairman said that the arrest of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, whowere convicted in Avenfield reference, will be ensured according to the law.
