LAHORE, June 13 (APP): Punjab Budget 2017: Few allocations sector wise
The Punjab government has allocated a sum of Rs 7.560 billion for industries in the budget for the fiscal year 2016-17.
According to the budget documents, Rs 3.086 billion will be spent on salaries of the employees, whereas remaining amount of Rs 4.474 billion has been reserved for non-salary expenditures.
TEVTA will receive about Rs 4.897 billion as grant-in-aid, which is less than the last year’s and an amount of Rs 151.973 million has been reserved for Headquarters Establishment.
Rs 178.613 million has been reserved for Inspectorate of Mines, whereas the Punjab Small Industries Corporation will get Rs 1.326 billion as grant-in-aid.
Rs 214.843 million has been reserved for Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate and Rs 170.152 million will be spent on the headquarters establishment.
Punjab Skills Development Project will receive Rs 79.800million. Sasti Roti Authority will receive Rs 309.583 million and Rs 231.617 million will be spent on regional offices of the authority.
