TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian Army discovered a large cache of Israeli-made armsand ammunition in mop-up operation in liberated regions in Deir Ezzurprovince on Tuesday.
The army sources said they were carrying out cleansing operation in thevillages of al-Sayal and Hasarat East of the town of Albu Kamal inSoutheastern Deir Ezzur when they discovered several warehouses containinga large number of Israel-made missiles, rockets, mortars, shells, landminesand hand-made bombs.
In the meantime, the army men found a tunnel in the village of al-SabikhanEast of the town of al-Mayadeen that was used as a large workshop tomanufacture arms and bombs, the sources said adding that a large quantityof unknown materials has also been found in the tunnel.
Field sources reported on Sunday that the Syrian Army sent a large numberof fresh forces and a large volume of military hardware to Eastern DeirEzzur after its positions in the region were pounded by the US fighter jetsa couple of days ago.
The sources said that the army dispatched a large number of forces and alarge volume of military equipment to the Eastern bank of the EuphratesRiver in Eastern Deir Ezzur.
The sources further added that several artillery units and militaryvehicles were sent to al-Jazeera Khasham, al-Tabiyah and Marat.
