RIYADH – A very good news has come from Al-Masjid an-Nabawī Sharif (theMosque of the Prophet).
After a gap of nearly 96 years, the Muslims will be allowed to offerprayers in Riaz-ul-Jannah as Imam of the Masjid-e-Nabawi has startedleading the five prayers from the Mehrab of the mosque.
The patch between the Sacred Chamber of the Holy Prophet (peace be uponhim) and his Pulpit (Mimbar) is known as the Riadhul Jannah i.e. Garden ofParadise- a name given to it by the holy Prophet.
The heavenly patch can be recognized by a green carpet and is also referredto as Rawdah.
