ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a briefing on health reformsbeing undertaken in Islamabad Capital Territory, Punjab and KhyberPakhtunkhwa, in Islamabad today.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister directed to identify all thebottlenecks related to administrative and legislative matters in reformingthe health sector.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the significance of state-of-the-artlaboratories and a comprehensive mechanism to check the food contaminationleading to stunted growth and other health hazards in coordination with theconcerned authorities at the federal and provincial levels.
He was talking to Minister for National Food Security and ResearchSahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan in Islamabad today.
The Minister said Chinese cooperation will be sought in improving thevarious sectors of agriculture field by enhancing cooperation inco-branding of products, post harvest promotion of commodities andestablishing free zones.
