ISLAMABAD – Two thousand year old Buddha sculpture from Pakistan has beendisplayed for exhibition at the Rietberg Museum in Switzerland.
The government of Pakistan loaned the sculpture to Swiss authorities, whichwas taken out of the country for the first time.
The sculpture titled “Buddha Shakyamuni,” over three and a half meters highand almost two tons heavy will be the main highlight at the “Next StopNirvana – Approaches to Buddhism” exhibition in Zurich from 12th of thismonth to 31st of March next year.
