ISLAMABAD – New developments have been reported on the Diamer Bhasha Damconstruction.
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has offered to make the Diamer BhashaDam with Rs 500 billion, Rs 200 billion lesser cost than projected.
PEC Chairman Javed Saleem Qureshi on Thursday offered his institution’sservices for the construction of Diamer Basha Dam with an approximate costof Rs500 billion.

He said the engineering council is ready to save Rs200 billion of theexchequer. He said that the absence of engineers in the policy formulationis a major cause in the increase of circular debts.
