HYDERABAD:In a major burglary incident, 5 armed robbers barged in the residence of a trader and escaped with cash and valuable items worth around Rs.155 million here on Saturday.
According to the Hali Road police, in whose limits the incident happened, the family of Mohsin Ali Soomro was kept hostage in their residence in Barkat Bhai Town as the robbers swept the house.
Soomro informed the police that cash, jewelry and other valuable items were taken away by the unidentified robbers.
SHO Hali Road police station Muhammad Ramzan told that the FIR of the incident was being lodged and the police had started the investigation.
However, he said the police were yet to identify the suspects and arrest them.
