*KARACHI – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated the candidatefor the slot of the opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly.*

*MPA-elect Haleem Adil Sheikh has been nominated as PTI candidate for theposition of leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly. *

Shortly after his nomination, the PTI leader also won support from partyallies, including Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and GrandDemocratic Alliance (GDA).

Mr Sheikh met leaders of both the parties at their offices who announced tosupport him unconditionally.

PTI chief Imran Khan on Saturday approved party leader Imran Ismail’snomination as the next Governor of Sindh.

Ismail met the party chief at his Islamabad residence who approved his namefor the slot.
