ISLAMABAD – Former Indian cricketers Kapil Dev and Navjot Singh Sidhu willbe attending Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony, PTI leader Faisal Javedconfirmed.

The ceremony will also be attended by Pakistan’s international cricketersWasim Akram, Javed Miandad, Aqib Javed, Inzam-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis amongother star cricketers from 1992, he said.

However, fellow cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has excused from PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf’s invitation due to work commitment and has wished Imranluck in advance his oath-taking as the prime minister of Pakistan.

Gavaskar bailed out from the ceremony for a test match in England on August18, where he is due to be present, sources mentioned.
