KABUL -US drone strike in Afghanistan near Pakistan border kills top ISIScommander.
At least seven militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq andSyria Khurasan (ISIS-K) were killed in a U.S. drone strike in eastern Kunarprovince of Afghanistan.
The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in a statement said theairstrike was carried out on Wednesday in Noor Gul district.
The statement further added that a commander of ISIS-K identified asMawlavi Khyber was killed along with six other militants in the airstrike.
