Senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and formerfederal minister Khurram Dastgir has stated that Nawaz Sharif has spokenabout progress and reconciliation. Speaking on the program “Up Front withMona Alam” on Hum News, Dastgir mentioned that decisions against NawazSharif were taken by pressurizing judges.
He remarked that the agenda of revenge was that of the PTI chairman, nottheirs. He emphasized that their agenda was not to put opponents in jails,and the PTI chairman misunderstood that he could rule with arrogance.
The former federal minister mentioned that the People’s Party was part ofthe coalition government for 16 months and was making such statements dueto political pressure. He highlighted that a nationwide democraticcompetition would take place on February 8.

He commented that when the PTI chairman comes to parliament, discussionswill take place and discussions within the Parliament is the only way forreconciliation. Still, the PTI chairman did not respect the mandates ofother parties.
