ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan hits out at Indian PM Narendra Modiover his brutality with the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the people of occupied Kashmir havebeen facing brutality at the hands of Indian forces since the last severaldecades and it has eliminated the fear of death among them. He added, “IfNarendra Modi thinks the people of Kashmir will accept the decision ofrevoking Article 370 then he is wrong.”
The premier expressed these views while addressing the people atConstitution Avenue in Islamabad on Friday. A large number of peoplegathered in the capital city and formed a ‘human chain’ from D-Chowk toRadio Pakistan Chowk to show solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.
The PM maintained that Modi had “played his last card” by not accepting theautonomy of occupied Kashmir. He said, “The residents of the disputedregion will not accept the decision.”
The prime minister criticized international media over the in-depthcoverage of the Hong Kong protests and for not highlighting the Indianbrutality in held valley.
The people of Kashmir have been living under curfew-like conditions forover two months now.
Normal life remains crippled in the occupied valley as military lockdownhas cost the territory’s economy more than Rs200 billion over the past twomonths.
