PESHAWAR – In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, work on the construction of Suki Kinarihydropower project is in progress under China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
A spokesman of Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization told RadioPakistan Peshawar Correspondent that a Chinese company is constructing thepower house on River Kunhar.
It will be completed at a cost of about two billion dollars by the end of2022.
The power station on completion will generate eight hundred and seventyMegawatts electricity.
The spokesman added that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will get revenue ofone point three billion rupees annually from the project.
