ISLAMABAD – Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has orderedto restore the CNIC and Passport of former President, General (R) PervezMusharraf.
Hearing a case regarding former President’s return to Pakistan at LahoreRegistry of Supreme Court on Monday, he also ordered not to arrest Gen. (R)Pervez Musharraf from airport to the court, on his return.
Earlier, during the hearing, the Chairman of NADRA told the honorable courtthat former President cannot return to country due to blockage of his CNICand Passport.
Chief Justice of Pakistan said that former President should return and facethe court cases filed against him.
He ordered to setup a court in two days, for a trial against Gen. (R)Pervez Musharraf.
