ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has met with the members of thePunjab Cabinet in Lahore on Saturday.
During the meeting, the cabinet members briefed the Prime Minister aboutimportant matters concerning their departments.
The Cabinet Members also briefed Imran Khan about the ongoing projectsunder Punjab Public-Private Partnership.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the members ofProvincial cabinet for strict monitoring of Ramazan Bazaars.
He asked the Punjab Assembly members and provincial ministers to regularlyvisit Ramazan Bazaars ,which have been set up in their respective areas.
The Prime Minister also directed the cabinet members to ensure provision ofessential commodities at fixed rates during the month of Ramazan.
He also directed the concerned authorities to take immediate action againstprofiteers and hoarders.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that special attention should be paid toinclude private sector in the development projects.
He directed for implementation of different models of public-privatepartnership to reduce financial burden on the government.
He said that more employment opportunities should be created for theskilled labour force in the development projects.
The Prime Minister said specific projects should be initiated for promotionof agriculture sector and increase in per acre yield.
He said government is providing a subsidy of twelve billion rupees on MetroBus which could had been allocated for health and education.
He said all out facilities should be provided to the investors throughone-window operation.
