LAHORE – Major breakthrough has been reported in Data Darbar blastinvestigations.
Police on Friday arrested four people during a raid in a Lahore locality onsuspicion of their involvement in the terror attack.
According to sources, investigators after identifying some people with thehelp of CCTV footage of the incident carried out a raid at a tea stall inGarhi Shahu and took into custody four suspicious persons. They wereshifted to an unknown place for questioning.
Besides, the police also arrested a rickshaw driver in connection withinvestigation into the incident.It is noteworthy that the death toll from Wednesday’s suicide blast outsidethe Data Darbar in Lahore jumped to 12 after another injured succumbed tohis wounds early Friday morning.Mudassar, a resident of Lahore’s Mochi Gate, breathed his last at ahospital where he was being treated.
