Karachi saved from big disaster as top Jundullah terrorist commander arrested by CTD

*KARACHI: **Karachi saved from big disaster as top Jundullah terroristcommander arrested by CTD Sindh.*

*Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Karachi Police has arrested a wantedterrorist of outlawed Jundullah terror group, the CTD chief said in a pressbriefing on Thursday.*

Arrested terrorist Mohammad Ishaq alias Gul was named in the red book, CTDchief Raja Umar Khattab told the media here today.

Police have recovered a suicide jacket and a hand grenade from hispossession, the police officer said.

According to the officer, the alleged terrorist had entered in Balochistanfrom Afghanistan and then arrived in interior of Sindh.

He had come to Karachi for a major terrorist attack in the metropolis, theCTD in-charge officer claimed.

Ishaq alias Gul was a neighbor of Ataur Rehman alias Naeem Bukhari ofbanned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist group, he said.

Accused Ishaq had join banned Jindullah group in year 2006 and wentAfghanistan to get training of terrorism and sabotage, the CTD officialsaid.

He was wanted to police in a number of cases, Raja Khattab said.
