India finally accepts Pakistan’s demand on consistent pressure

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda announced on Fridaythat India has finally accepted Pakistan’s request to inspect Indianprojects in Chenab basin.

The minister took to his Twitter handle and announced, “Due to ourcontinued efforts there’s a major breakthrough that India has finallyagreed to our request for inspection of Indian projects in Chenab basin.”

Vawda continued that he has also directed his team to carry out theinspection from January 27 till February 1. He added that the delegationwould be lead by the commissioner for Indus Waters. He said that thisgesture by India was welcomed and he hoped that the same spirit would beshown regarding other major issues.

As a Federal Minister I’ve directed my team to visit and carry outinspection of projects from 27th Jan-1 Feb.It’s indeed a feather in Ministry for water resources’ cap.
