Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir says intelligence and military cooperationwith the United States has been suspended after its froze militaryassistance to Pakistan.
Talking to PTV, he said Pakistan has fulfilled its responsibilities in thewar against terror and will continue efforts to maintain peace andstability in the region.
The Defence Minister said in order to achieve the targets, the UnitedStates should revive the strategic dialogue with Pakistan and avoidthreatening or intimidating attitude against it.
He said Al-Qaeda was eliminated from the region due to Pakistan’scooperation with the United States.
In another interview with a major American financial newspaper, “The WallStreet Journal”, the Defence Minister said the US suspension of securityaid to Pakistan has emasculated the war on terror in the region.
