KARACHI – Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecom SyedAmin-Ul-Haq announced to launch 5G services by December 2022 saying ITexports have already increased by 57 percent this year.
Speaking at the MoU Signing Ceremony between Ignite and the University ofKarachi held here at a local hotel on Saturday, he said the establishmentof the Animation Center of Excellence was essential as the animation sectorwas a big global market in which we have no significant share.
Haq further added that we want to start working on it immediately, as thisCenter of Excellence would not only benefit the students of KarachiUniversity but also the students of other universities.
He also revealed that an amount of Rs.2 billion has been allocated for thekey project and one billion rupees will be provided immediately.
