Chinese embassy strongly reacts over media reports of Pakistani women forced into prostitution, human organs sale in China

ISLAMABAD:Chinese embassy strongly reacts over media reports of Pakistaniwomen forced into prostitution, human organs sale in China.

The Chinese Embassy on Thursday denied media reports that Pakistan womenwere being forced into prostitution or sale of human organs.

“According to investigations by the Ministry of Public Security of China,there is no forced prostitution or sale of human organs for those Pakistaniwomen who stay in China after marriage with Chinese,” the embassy said in astatement.

The statement added that a few criminals would not be allowed to undermineChina’s friendship with Pakistan and hurt friendly feelings between peopleof the two countries.

In a crackdown in Punjab, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) hasarrested Chinese nationals accused of trapping Pakistani women into fakemarriages.

The embassy clarified that China’s position on the issue of transnationalmarriage was to protect legitimate marriages and combat crimes. “If anyorganization or individual commits a crime in Pakistan under the banner ofthe cross-border marriage, China supports the Pakistani side to crack downon it according to Pakistani laws.”
