ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University has introduced some academicprograms for overseas Pakistanis, including those living in Saudi Arabia,Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman, Bahrain and USA.
The programs include Allisan-ul-Arabi (Basic Arabic Course), Arabic BolChall, Secondary School Certificate (Matric), Higher Secondary SchoolCertificate( FA, I.com), Bachelor Programs (BA General Group, B.Com, B.AMass Communication and BA Library Science), B.Ed (1.5 years), MBA(Commonwealth of Learning), Dars-i-Nizami and Short Term Courses.According to the Director Admissions, the educational facilities for theoverseas Pakistanis were being increased as per the instructions of theVice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum.
They are being facilitated with the cooperation of Pakistani Missionsabroad, with expanded educational facilities that enable them to carry ontheir future study, through distance and on-line learning system.The interested overseas Pakistanis have been advised to apply for theadmission in the program of their choice before March 15.
