Pakistan Afghanistan make headway in bilateral talks

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Afghanistan have made headway in high leveldelegation talks in Islamabad.

An Afghan delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai isin Islamabad to hold the second round of discussion on Afghanistan-PakistanAction Plan for Peace and Solidarity, reported Radio Pakistanlink>.

The action plan is aimed at cooperation in the areas of counter-terrorismand reduction of violence, peace and reconciliation, Afghan refugees’repatriation and joint economic development.

Earlier, a high-level Pakistani delegationlink>led by Foreign Secretary TehminaJanjua, visited Kabul on February 3 to hold a discussion with theirlink>Afghanlink>counterparts.
