PESHAWAR – A CPEC Project is going to make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the firstever province in Pakistan which would be energy self sufficient.
Suki Kinari Hydropower Project ,under CPEC will generate around 870MWinexpensive electricity to meet growing energy needs of the country .
Counsellor Embassy of China Li Yuanling giving details of the project inIslamabad today said this is one of the largest private sectorrun-of-the-river projects.
It will be completed at a cost of 1.92 billion dollars and generate jobsfor 3,000 local residents .
The Suki Kinari hydropower project is located on Kunhar River in the KaghanValley of District Mansehra.
