KARACHI – A data bank of all Non Government Organizations (NGOs) is beingdesigned to ensure their regular monitoring.
This data bank is being designed on the directives of Sindh Minister forMinorities Affairs and Social Welfare Hari Ram Kishori Lal.
The official of the department said there is no practice of monitoring NGOsworking across the province which was a serious issue that needed immediateaction to filter their illegal activities, anti-social practices andunauthorized foreign funding.
The official said on the directives of Minster advertisement is beingpublished for all NGOs to fulfill the preconditions including annual auditreport and work progress with 30 days to comply.
He said in case of failure, the registration of the concerned NGO would becancelled.
