LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Team Head Coach Mickey Arthur has arrived in Lahore at Wednesday night and he is going to hold meetings with Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shahryar Khan and Chief Selector Inzamam ul Haq.
As per details, Mickey Arthur could not join team during training camp in Abbottabad and Skills camp in Lahore but now he is going to join team ahead of England tour.
As per media reports, Head Coach Mickey Arthur would also hold meetings with Test team Captain Misbah ul Haq and ODI Captain Azhar Ali before departing for England tour on June 18. Sources said that he will also address a press conference after meetings with PCB Chairman and Chief Selector.
Upon his arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, he said in his informal media talk that he is fully prepared to lead Pakistani cricket team and although it is massive challenge but he will try his best to improve Pakistan cricket team performance.
It is also worthy to mention here that Mickey Arthur was appointed as Pakistan cricket team head coach after the resignation of Waqar Younis due to poor performance of Pakistani team in Asia Cup and T20 World cup.
