KABUL – A provincial military commander has been killed in friendly firelink fromlink national troops, whileriding in a private car link in westernAfghanistan link,the Herat link policelink chief told Sputnikon Saturday.
The late commander of the Heratlink operations unit,Ahmad Shah Jalali, was on his way to Heratlink city when he cameunder fire link at an Afghanlink National Armylink checkpoint in theNawabad area.
For years, the Afghanlink governmentlink has beenfighting the Talibanlink movementand various militant groups affiliated with al-Qaeda and the Islamic Stateterrorist link groups(both banned in Russialink).
