Turkey has expressed its resolve to play its counter-terrorism role in Syria after US decision to withdraw troops.
Addressing the US Chamber of Commerce and American-Turkish Council in Ankara, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country is determined to fight against all terrorist groups, particularly Daesh, which poses a great threat to the region and the world.
He said Turkey wants to set up safe zone in northern Syria with logistical support from allies.
