ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday took notices of VIPprotocol routes, bad condition of government hospitals in Karachi andadmissions in private medical colleges.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took three suomoto notices within a day.
He issued notices to the authorities over established routes for VIPprotocols across the country for the movement of renowned personalities. Hevoiced concerns over blocking main roads to ensure clear routes for VIPprotocol.
Secondly, he issued notices to the government hospitals in Karachi that aresuffering from poor condition. He summoned reports from the medicalsuperintendents across the city and asked them to appear at the Karachiregistry and address the concerns of the people.
Justice Nisar also ordered the authorities of various private medicalcolleges to submit reports regarding their admission procedures. He askedthe CEOs of private medical colleges in Karachi to submit reports regardingtheir admission criteria and fee structure.
