The United Nations General Assembly has approved four disarmament-relatedresolutions sponsored by Pakistan that are aimed at strengthening regionaland international peace and security.
The resolutions were recommended by 193-member Assembly’s First Committeewhere these resolutions were adopted by overwhelming support of itsmembership.
Talking to APP, the diplomats said approval of the resolutions by theGeneral Assembly is as an acknowledgment of Pakistan’s commitment topromote the objectives of regional and global disarmament as well asstrengthening international peace and security.
