Over 5000 employees of Sindh local government sacked

KARACHI – Over 5,000 employees have been sacked from local bodiesdepartments across Sindh.

The sacked employees were working on contract and daily wages in 29districts, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Mirpur Khas.

After sacking the employees, the LB departments have sent the list,certificate and report to the Local Bodies secretary.

Sources said that the employees have been sacked to steer the local bodiesdepartments from deficit.
