ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardarifiled on Wednesday a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seekingpre-arrest bail in Harish and Company case.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have summoned the PPP leader onMay 9 regarding the illegal awarding of a water supply contract to theprivate company. The bureau has filed its reference against the PPP leaderas part of an ongoing investigation of the money laundering through fakeaccounts case, local media reported.
Zardari’s sister Faryal Talpur, Omni Group’s Chairman Anwar Majeed and hissons, and former Pakistan Stock Exchange chairperson Hussain Lawai areamong others being investigated in the fake accounts case by the NAB.
