LAHORE – With the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisartaking notice of the Model Town Case the troubles for CM Shahbaz Sharif mayincrease as opposition and PAT holds him responsible for the brutalkillings.
CJP on Sunday took notice of the delay in provision of justice to thefamilies and victims of 2014 Model Town incident.
As per details, CJP also summoned a report from Punjab government onreasons behind delay.
He directed a provincial law officer to submit a report of the provincialauthorities in this regard. CJP took notice of the matter on request of adaughter of woman who was killed in the incident.
On June 17, 2014 police moved to remove the barriers placed on roadsleading to Minhajul Quran institutions and residence of Dr Tahirul Qadri inModel Town of Lahore, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief.
PAT chief had announced to lead a long march against alleged corruptgovernment on June 23, 2014.
