ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan paid a surprise visit to the ShelterHome at Fawara Chowk in Rawalpindi late last night.
Accompanied by the Minister of Health Aamer Mehmood Kiani, SpecialAssistant on Media Iftikhar Durrani and Senator Faisal Javed, the PrimeMinister went around various sections of the Shelter Home. The PrimeMinister was shown the mosque, sleeping area, the place of serving mealsand informed about the medical facilities available.
The Prime Minister shook hands with the people, inquired about theirwell-being, and asked about their problems.
Talking to them, Imran Khan said his government is working hard to bringease in the life of the common man.
He was appreciative of the facilities being extended to the homeless anddirected that more shelter homes be set up at different localities to housesuch people who have no place to live in such cold weather.
