RAWALPINDI – The 217th Corps Commanders’ Conference presided by Chief ofArmy Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was held at GeneralHeadquarters on Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the forum reviewedgeo-strategic environment and security situation of the country.
The meeting also discussed progress of ongoing operations, fencing alongPak-Afg border, situation along eastern border, including Indian ceasefireviolations deliberately targeting innocent citizens and Afghanreconciliation process.

The forum reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace inthe country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.
