ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Malta have agreed to increase high levelinteractions for further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in diversefields.
The understanding came at the Inaugural round of Pakistan-Malta BilateralPolitical Consultations in the Maltese capital Valletta.
Special Secretary Dr Aman Rashid represented Pakistani side while theMaltese side by its Director-General Political and EU Affairs Ms. MariaCamilleri Calleja.
The Maltese side appreciated Pakistan’s support to the efforts for peaceand reconciliation in Afghanistan and Prime Minister’s initiative fordefusion of tensions in Middle East through diplomatic means.

The Maltese side also expressed its wish to see the Kashmir disputeresolved through dialogue.
