ISLAMABAD – New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor has raised concerns overMohammad Hafeez bowling action.
He objected to Mohammad Hafeez’s bowling action during the opening game ofthe three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
Taylor complained to umpires that Hafeez was bowling ‘Doosra’ with slightlyaltered action, which he is not allowed to do.
Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, who was unpleased with Taylor’s act, movedup to Taylor and the duo exchanged heated words before the umpires had tointervene.
Umpires also overruled Taylor’s objection and asked him to continue battingand leave the rest on them.
It was a positive sign for Hafeez, as the skipper did not remove him fromthe bowling despite the objection.
