ISLAMABAD – Defence Minister Pervez Khattak has been appointed as Chairmanof the Parliamentary Committee on probing the alleged rigging in GeneralElections 2018. This was stated by Information Minister Chaudhry FawadHussain while talking to media outside the Parliament House in Islamabadtoday.
Fawad Chaudhry said the Committee took this decision at its first meetingtoday and it will decide the Terms of Reference during its next meeting.
He said the European Union’s Election Observation Mission to Pakistan andFree and Fair Election Network have noted in their reports that GeneralElections 2018 were held in free and fair manner.
