ISLAMABAD – Pakistan cricket team head coach Mickey Arthur gets the worstblow the Pakistan Cricket Board.
PCB has decided to not continue with the current coaching staff of headcoach Mickey Arthur, batting coach Grant Flower, bowling coach AzharMehmood and trainer Grant Luden.
The contracts of the current coaches are due to expire on August 15th. ThePCB Cricket Committee had suggested the chairman Ehsan Mani to not givecoaching staff any extension and look for new coaches after analyzing theirperformance diligently.
“The Cricket Committee that has analyzed coaches’ performances haveexperienced members,” said PCB boss and wished luck to the current coachesfor their future endeavours. “PCB will keep making decisions that willbenefit Pakistan cricket.”
The board is expected to advertise for all four positions soon. There havebeen rumours regarding different local and foreign cricketers as the frontrunners to occupy the post of head coach.
