ISLAMABAD – Two-day intra Afghan dialogue began in Doha, Qatar today toreach a settlement for peace in Afghanistan.
The dialogue has been sponsored by Qatar and Germany and is being attendedby Afghans from across the political and social spectrum as well as Talibanrepresentatives.
Former Afghan envoy to Pakistan, Omar Zakhilwal told Al Jazeera TV that theintra Afghan meet complements the ongoing US-Taliban talks also being heldin Doha.
Meanwhile, the ongoing US-Taliban talks have been paused for two days toallow the intra-Afghan dialogue to take place.
