KARACHI – Pakistan has on Sunday released 100 Indian fishermen as goodwillgesture, Dunya News reported.
The fishermen will depart from the Karachi Cantonment Railway Station forLahore, and will be handed over to the Indian authorities at the Wagahborder.
The Edhi Foundation is bearing the travelling expenses. The foundation willalso give presents to the fishermen.
Furthermore, Pakistan will stepwise set 260 more fishermen free in theupcoming days. The Indian fishermen were captured by the Pakistaniauthorities for violating maritime boundary.
