The Modi government faced another embarrassment on the Rafale deal when its Attorney General informed the Supreme Court today that documents relating the deal have been stolen from Ministry of Defense.
The Indian Supreme Court was hearing review petitions filed against its December 14 verdict in the case.
Meanwhile, Congress’s Chief Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told reporters that Modi misused his office to benefit Dassault Aviation. He said the Indian Negotiating Team constituted to finalize the purchase of the fighter aircraft was sidelined and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval finalized the negotiations at the behest of the Prime Minister’s office.
