Imphal: Nine Assam Rifles troopers were injured after unidentified menattacked with grenades at its Camp near Khuman Lampak Sports Complex inImphal.
The attack took place around 5:30 pm on Tuesday. The injured have beenshifted to Leimakhong Army Hospital.
This is the second grenade attack on security forces in Manipur in twodays. Two Assam Rifles personnel were injured in a grenade blast on Mondayat Pologround in Imphal.
The nine wounded troopers belonged to five different units of theparamilitary force and were assembled at the transit camp at the time ofthe attack.
