LAHORE – Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq breaks silence over performance ofPakistan squad in first T20 International against Srilanka.
National team head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq says that aftera long time new player takes some time for adjustment in reference toperformance of Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal.
During a press conference in Lahore, Misbah-ul-Haq made it clear thatFakhar Zaman was not dropped but given a chance to rest. Babar Azam is thebest T20 player.
He said the Sri Lankan team did well in the first match. Hope the teamperforms better in the next match. We will try to win the next match.
He made it clear that no player can be removed from the team on a singlematch basis. The media seems to have no idea how a team is formed. It takesa while for the players on the team to adjust if included in squad after along time. We have a complete plan in place for the team.
