NAROWAL – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal was injured in firing on apolitical gathering of PML-N in Punjab. Punjab CM has sent his helicopterto shift Ahsan Iqbal to Lahore.
The attack occurred near Kanjur area of Narowal district in Punjab.
DPO Narowal Imran Kishwar, said the minister was shot in right arm.
“Ahsan Iqbal is being treated in Narowal district hospital. He is stablenow,” the DPO said. He said the attack has been arrested.
“The attacker is a local person. He fired only one shot before beingarrested,” the DPO said.
